WHERE: San José, Costa Rica
WHAT: We will run four daily medical clinics, distribute medicines to those in need, offer prayer support to the indigenous people and organize activities for the local children.
WHO: We need you! Specific needs…
Group 1. Medically trained people to attend to the patients.
Group 2. Adults, college & middle/high school students who possess the energy to help keep patients entertained while they wait to be seen.
Group 3. Bilingual individuals who can speak Spanish and English.
Groups 4. People who love to work and play with children.
Group 5. Anyone willing to pray with those in need.
Group 6. Those willing to work as a team and serve the local community in Costa Rica.
NOTE: Endurance Leadership’s medical trips require a balance of all 6 types of volunteers listed above in order to work effectively in each foreign country. We reserve the right to decline any individual who may register for the trip based on that team’s gift balance and understanding. If EL declines your registration, you will be refunded in full.
WHY: To work in assigned areas for community development work with local residents of impoverished communities.
WHEN: July 27 – August 4, 2024
COST: $2,850
COST INCLUDES: flights to/from IAD/DCA and San Jose, Costa Rica, along with in-country transportation, hotel lodging, all breakfasts, lunch on work days, supplies during the service volunteer trip, etc… – cost is entirely tax-deductible. Hotel costs are budgeted based on double occupancy, extra fees apply to those who desire to have their own room.
COST DOES NOT INCLUDE: Dinners and food on the final day in San Jose and in transit. In addition, it does not include Covid-19 testing in the USA or in Costa Rica. Each participant is required to meet trip requirements in the time frame outlined by Costa Rica and the US government. In addition, the cost does NOT include a health/travel insurance plan. If you desire health or travel insurance, which is HIGHLY recommended, please visit Allianz Travel Insurance.
Note: With the constantly changing rules and restrictions related to Covid-19, Endurance Leadership has chosen for each participant to be responsible for getting the necessary Covid-19 testing prior to and during travel. The rules may change at any time related to the vaccine or testing so we will keep each participant up to date on requirements and allow individuals and families to acquire what is necessary for travel. The current cost of the Covid-19 test in Costa Rica is $60, and again, this cost is not provided by Endurance Leadership.
TRIP ADD-ONS: We have had trip participants in the past add on in-country excursions at their own expense. Since there are many variables and choices, please let our staff know your desired return date of travel, so we can make that change before we purchase the group tickets.
