Prayer

We consider ourselves honored by having as many individuals and churches as possible join our prayer team. The Book of James has much to say regarding the power of prayer in chapter 5, verses 16-18,

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.”

The example of Elijah, who we are told was an ordinary human just like you and me, demonstrates the power of God at work when a person offers prayer requests in faith. We believe that we can work as hard as we like and as many hours as possible; however, without the hand of God at work, the labor is in vain.

Please consider joining our crucial prayer team.
