Our group arrived to Limatambo, Peru yesterday evening after three flights and a 2 hour van ride from Cusco. We are serving at a place known as Casa del Aguila (House of the Eagle). The work here consists of 30+ orphans, a private school with over 200 children, and a working produce farm. The private school, the farm and groups like ours have made this organization almost 100% self sustaining after only 16 years of being in existence.
Our team is made up of 25 people, ranging in age from 16 months to 71 years. Despite the exhaustion due to travel, our group hit the ground today serving. Some working on the farm and others with orphans. They have done so with amazing attitudes, which has made this an easy group to lead. We are looking forward to all that God has in store for us this week and would appreciate your prayers. You can also follow our trip on our Facebook page: Leadership Excursions.
